MARTIN PARR. WE LOVE SPORTS

On the occasion of the Nitto ATP Finals that will take place in Torino from 2021 to 2025, CAMERA hosts a large solo exhibition of the British photographer Martin Parr (Epsom, 1952), curated by Walter Guadagnini with the collaboration of Monica Poggi.
A member of Magnum Photos and an attentive interpreter of the present, over the last few decades Parr has portrayed today’s society with merciless and amused irony, creating images that have become true contemporary icons. At the center of the exhibition itinerary is the theme of sport, with an important focus on the pictures he took during various tennis matches. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Lavazza and stands as one of the key cultural events of Turin’s autumn and winter.
