ESPRESSIONI. LA PROPOSIZIONE

The exhibition “Expressions. The proposition” - at the Rivoli Castle Museum of Contemporary Art until November 7, 2021 - presents works of painting, sculptures, videos, sound, performances, installations, as well as projects based on virtual reality technology, by over fifty artists from different historical periods, coming from various parts of the world and who share an interest in particularly expressive, or even expressionist, forms of art: they range from exasperated individualism to manifestations of romantic melancholy up to deformed interpretations of the body and everyday life, as if to signify the need to verify one’s own vitality in the midst of the world’s difficulties.
