The PHOTOCALL exhibition traces the history of Italian cinema from its origins to the present day in over 250 shots - including portraits, photos of scenes and set photos, posed shots or shots on the red carpet - to examine the close relationship between photography and cinema, in particular the relationship between the photographer and the actor.
Along the itinerary, images from the Museum’s archives and more recent images taken by famous photographers such as Stefano Guindani, Sabina Filice, Philippe Antonello, Stefano Montesi, Riccardo Ghilardi, Claudio Canova and the works of Marco Innocenti are exhibited.
The exhibition, set up at the Mole Antonelliana, is enriched by a section on the external gate and one in the courtyard of the University.
