LA COLLEZIONE OLIVETTI

A selection of over 100 works of art by 32 artists and over 100 historical documents from the Archives and Library of the Olivetti Historical Archives Association (programs, posters, historical films, publications, photographs and correspondence) is presented for the first time to the general public - after the only exhibition which was the one that took place in 2002 at the Officina H in Ivrea, 55 20th-century artists from the Olivetti collection - giving way to a path of progressive knowledge and full enjoyment of multiple segments of this substantial and extraordinary collection.
The exhibition tells about the value of culture as a strategic tool of the company and as a factor of the cultural growth of society, according to different branches and areas of influence, from the factory to the territory. The complexity and richness of many decades of the Olivetti cultural enterprise are outlined along four internal paths: The Library and the Olivetti Cultural Center, the agendas, the major exhibitions and restorations, Olivetti Gallery.
